I’ll be there! Mostly at the Fowers Games booth, but I should get some chances to wander off as well.

Unless you think the Oak rulebook is quantum tangled with it or something and don’t want to risk losing the Oak rulebook 👀 haha

Darn! Let’s fix that. If you’re going to PAXU, I can give you a copy there. Otherwise I can send you one by mail. In the meantime, the game’s BGG page does have a PDF version you can download.

I’m sure I missed a few but those are what came to me.

Yeah this is what I came to say. Love Reading Market if it’s not peak hours or if I have a ton of time. I usually do dinner in Chinatown most nights: Dim Sum Garden is pretty busy but really good, and there are honestly plenty of delicious options in that area.

Co-op, dice manipulation, narrative arc that goes from "we're fucked" to "we got this". This is my shit. h/t to @ithayla.bsky.social and @peersylvester.bsky.social

Tolkien, who saw almost all his friends die in the Somme, and knew the seduction of despair, wrote both Denethor and Saruman as doomers.

Scream Park is so good. As a designer I’ve always wanted to make a theme park game and while Scream Park is more of a haunted house theme I just don’t think I could design a better system than that. And agreed that the artist did a great job!
