So take this in. Straight from the NATO meeting after Russia’s attack Britain’s primary military town, Salisbury, Boris Johnson flew unofficially to party in Umbria with a former KGB officer working for the Kremlin.

This whole business reminds me of a gag in the Goon Show which had them building the first airport in the world:
"What are you going to call it?"
"Croydon airport."
"And where are you going to build it?"
"At Croydon."
"Splendid, that will save changing the name."

When I went off to Poly at 18 my parents couldn't wait to boot me out and they were entirely indifferent to my contacting them, assuming I would only do so for money and laundry purposes (which was true to be fair). I was close to my parents but they wanted me to have my own life.
