Actually a valid point. DVDs are especially annoying. I have to put them on for my cousin, and I'm lucky if the DVD actually lets you go straight to the menu to start the damn thing.
Wait until gen z learns about the DVDs with unskippable ads, including the anti piracy ad.
Or the region lock.
Or DRM.
Or the issues with pal/ntsc, frame rate, resolution, sound and speed issues, interlaced.

Let's not act like physical media and companies weren't already a mess since the beginning.

My trust in a lot of devs is so shot now, but on the bright side I will be saving a lot of money going forward. Hell, won't even be able to buy PCs soon due to the ludicrous price increases.

RAM prices are in the range of what you expect a mid-range PC build to be. Just that one item. All for no good reason.

Lol did they think there wouldn't be major problems removing the slowdown? God, just let M2 work on all arcade games.
Important Update.

Going to greatly cut down the amount of phone screen time I do. It's neither healthy or productive. Currently I average around 4-5 hours, so let's see what it's like next week!

People reacting to this as if it's damning evidence when it doesn't mean anything without context. You can tell all most people seem to know about FFX-2 is that it has 3 female protags and not that it has some guys loredumping on you.

Finally finished FF12 The Zodiac Age and…

Games like this remind me why I love JRPGs in the first place. The characters, the music, the hunts, the story…everything landed.

Ivalice, you were something special 💙

Imagine being Phil Spencer
Terrible launch for Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 in Europe. The game sold 63% fewer copies at launch compared with Battlefield 6. It's also more than 60% down over last year's Black Ops 6. (Digital and physical sales. GSD Data) www.thegamebusiness.com/p/call-of-du...

Really is depressing how bad things have gotten in the past 10-15 years. Every tech company is out to make everything as inconvenient and exploitative as possible, and they're left completely unchecked.

The Amazon App has this the option to see the price history of an item. The catch? It's tied to their AI chatbot. Interacting with that is another +1 AI interaction that they can use to justify their investment.
