A trick I learnedis that for every shorts programming block, as long as it doesn't impede the flow of the block, you'll want to end on the piece with the shortest (or among the shortest) credits, otherwise the audience gets restless waiting for the host outro & will sometimes leave before it.

Absolutely give credit to everyone! Say what needs to be said - but it does NOT need to be a slow crawl with one item of information at a time.

If I have to choose between two films that are otherwise right in the same spot on the bubble, this is going to be one factor in the decision making process. You get several shorts with extremely long credits, and that's taking up time that could be used to show an additional short.
