Embarrassing but not shocking at all. The Trump administration have been obvious and consistent Putin sympathizers before and during their unprovoked invasion of Ukraine. Nobody should be caught by surprise here.

I'm sick of the plausible deniability. First he joked about "not needing to vote again" once he was elected. Now he's declaring himself king. Perhaps some things should not be said by a President regardless of intent and should get you run out of town by your own party members.
