"see, the thing is, I wasn't getting as much attention as I wanted on panel shows, so I came up with something so obnoxious that it couldn't be edited out. That way, everyone would know I was there, even if the section had nothing to do with me"

NGL that sounds a bit shit. I get that you won't have Disney money, but I don't want to watch the Doctor staying in and getting a head start on chores

5 years or so ago I tried to watch The Great North, I was told a bit like Bob's Burgers. I gave up on the first ep because I couldn't be dealing with a musical TV show, no matter how good it was.

I've given it another chance recently and I don't know what I was smoking, it's not a musical at all.

Ooh, I should do that survey for the good of comedy - oh wait I only work in comedy in my head, not real life

I dunno, I don't think the Amazon parachute is the final piece of the puzzle stopping me from trying this at home

I never got to brag about seeing Nova Twins the other night. Simply excellent. The noises they get out of the 1,000 pedals are incredible

Post a fictional comedian who definitely would accept an invitation to the Riyadh Comedy Festival.

Family festivals are the literal worst.
Parents at their one day out of the year absolutely trollied.
Kids neglected all day.
Any challenge to their behaviour ends in "we're just having fun"

A family exclusive festival is a far better example to set and a more accurate advert for Britishness

Today's comedy special while I work is the brilliant Harriet Dyer.

She has 2 specials on YouTube @HarrietDyerComedy. Starting with Mother.

If you like to spend an hour trying to figure out what you're listening to/watching, this is perfect (complementary)

Started watching Twisted Metal last night. What's not to like? Post apocalyptic, cool imagery, action, 30 min eps, billed as a comedy. Perf.

Until the fuxking advert for Bosch wiper blades halfway through. Get in the bin

Harriet Kemsley has a show on BBC Sounds which is excellent.

Harriet is one of the comedians I will always see when I can. Just constant laughs the whole way

I don't remember the last time I watched a Tarot show that wasn't a WIP, glad they're still delightfully dumb

Nothing like an article about gatekeepers behind a paywall

I'm not sure what I think about this. Charity = good obviously. But I don't like that already oversubscribed tickets now have a pay to win (get an advantage/second chance/whatever) option.

Hopefully the new venue is a lot better, or has an overflow or something to allow for more tickets
