The mountains in the north near the ID border are gorgeous and hold so much historical magics. Shoshone-Bannock territory where my paternal g-g-grandma came from, originally.

I refer to myself as PNW because I am Indigenous and my family and kinship ties, based on pre-colonial trade, culture and languages, span from what is now Alaska to Northern California. There was no “Canada” “BC” or “USA” but there were complex international trade systems.

I even go as far as to walk around the block with my coffee commuter mug and pretend I’m “walking to work” even though I end up right back at my house.
How else are the neighbours gonna see my cute boots!? 🤣

I learned to drive on one. 1978 standard shift, sidestep, short box. No power anything - and I still have it! Lots of memories driving around town in it with my Dad as a very young girl. Now it’s the “dump truck” but it still runs!
