Getting 4 stitches to close my gash. Luckily it's right along the hair line so if it scars, it will be very well hidden.

I don't remember the last time I looked in the mirror & saw my collarbones but they're there tonight. And it's funny how I can tell which one is the one I broke that healed with "mild deformation" bc it sits too high & has a sharp rise in the middle where the bones reformed

On our way out of the Serengeti to get to our air strip, we were interrupted by an absolutely gigantic bull male elephant who stepped in front of the jeep to drink rain water from last night. He was really, really close & I was stunned by how beautiful he was. Nature is so incredible.

Making progress on my latest paint by number. I really like how it's turning out.

I took Earl out for some outside time & a nice lady who spoke only Spanish stopped to give him some attention. My rusty Spanish skills picked up that she said he was "muy gordo!" Also "muy bonito" but the muy gordo was much more funny.

Like one I have done? Probably the one I'm working on right now, a lantern launch over a river. But I have, no joke, about 20 of them waiting to go. So my favorite may change! Are you also a PBN person???

Current one I'm doing:
An unfinished paint by numbers canvas, depicting a sky with paper lanterns floating over a river at night & a small boat with people on it launching the lanterns. The right side of the canvas is covered up with masking tape & not painted yet.

I'm working on a #paintbynumber for my brother. I like how it's coming out, but i feel like the colors are more muted than in the example photo. Hoping maybe a gloss finish will make it pop more? Anyway, I'm having fun & he really likes it so far.

I did my nails today, meaning I glued fake ones on bc i like having pretty nails but I'm too cheap to get them done & too lazy to do more than glue them on. This set is pretty!

A paint by number that is not quite finished. The part that is done shows a campfire in a clearing in front of a lake at night. The sky is not finished yet
