It's an old and obvious pattern. An unpopular president - failing on the economy and losing his grip on power at home - decides to launch a war for regime change abroad.

It's increasingly clear that the president lives in a constructed bubble of unreality designed by aides who are manipulating him in order to take control of US policy. Seems like an important story - wish media would cover it.

The Residence on Netflix was fantastic. Incredible cast, brilliant writing, lots of fun. Of course Netflix is cancelling it. Wouldn't be surprised if they were scarred. The reveal at the end could be seen as an indictment on how the rich actually view democracy and our govt. institutions.

If you are going to a protest this weekend, or you think there is any situation in which you might interact with law-enforcement: turn Face ID and thumbprint lock off. Passcode only. Cops can compel you to open your phone with face or thumb w/o a warrant. They can't compel you to enter a code.
You need to turn your phone's Face ID and thumbprint lock off ASAP.
