I found some others that are similarly weird with life point based effects(monster ones are very similar but have their own possible quirks). I'd add a few more here but 4 is the image limit. Searching for "difference" has some interesting results.

How are difference/resource based continuous effects handled. My specific looking is for Number 35: Ravenous Tarantula(My goat only printed in gold). Does the stat gain chose an opponent on summon? Add together every difference? Change based on who is in battle with my monsters?
