Something people are mixed about is how the banlist works. I like it but ik some dont. It has both standard banned, limit, semi, as well as a colour system where you can only have 3 red cards and 10 blues in the main deck, you number of reds and blues also determines what can be in the extra deck

... the anime with having 4k lp and using a duel disk to duel(if youre in vr). It also lets you have duels including up to 4 players. The dev kinda goes mia so updates are lacking but it's community is still there with 2 servers that hold tournaments in both a bracket single elim and swiss locals

There's my preferred way to play. DMVR. Its a fan made yugioh game where the card pool honestly could have been made with better direction. Its got a mix of some real and some anime cards mostly focusing on zexal and sooner series though some newer stuff is around. I enjoy the ways it emulates..

I found some others that are similarly weird with life point based effects(monster ones are very similar but have their own possible quirks). I'd add a few more here but 4 is the image limit. Searching for "difference" has some interesting results.

How are difference/resource based continuous effects handled. My specific looking is for Number 35: Ravenous Tarantula(My goat only printed in gold). Does the stat gain chose an opponent on summon? Add together every difference? Change based on who is in battle with my monsters?

The anime is so funny. Genuinely why does he have that. Its a negative in like all situations but this one. Did he pre-side against IV? He's the only guy who actively wants to not have material on his xyz monsters

I'm also curious what books to you would be the "better fantasy"? Both in just as a book itself and as something that should be adapted to other mediums. Personally, I think for an adaptation, "The Menocht Loop" would have some nice visuals, though I am somewhat mixed on the story.

I haven't read them myself though know people who have and like them. I'm curious what exactly it is you don't like about them that has you make a post reacting in a negative way instead of just a reaction of indifference as they aren't your personal taste.

Not too far from what it actually does. It does misdirect things in a way. Though it's control is actually much wider in scope and less direct.

Sadly in the format I play, while it is at three, it's also a blue/super. Which is part of our duel links like system where you can only have 10 blues and 3 reds, 2 reds if you wanna use Pleiades. They run only 5 blues because they also use Gilti-Gearfried

I suppose so. Probably would be used in the format I play if instant fusion was hit less and they didn't have the power to use Joker's Straight

No way the Silent Honor part abrieviates to make the card name SHArk. Thats crazy. Also it's weird they cut Knight from the name.
