Sen. Mark Kelly: "Right now they need to get out of Minneapolis & really reevaluate what this agency agency should be. Kristi Noem needs to be fired, by the way. That's a good starting point here. And the senior leadership there, the ones who have implemented these policies, these people need to go"

No arrests of the ICE thugs who murdered Alex Pretti, Renee Good, or Keith Porter. No arrests of anyone in the Epstein Files. But they arrested Don Lemon because of his journalism.

A president who combines hostility with intellectual emptiness isn’t just controversial...he’s structurally dangerous. It’s hard to tell which is more alarming: the policies or the lack of comprehension behind them.

Republicans' Big Ugly Bill gave Trump $190 billion for DHS, including $75 billion for ICE and $65 billion for CBP.

That's money Republicans stripped from rural hospitals and helping people afford health care.

Congress should claw it back and put serious restraints on DHS.

I don’t understand why Trump has to threaten Iran again over their nuclear program when he angrily insisted months ago that international proliferation experts were wrong and he completely obliterated their program and set them back many years with his previous bombings.

ICE isn’t making rare mistakes. This is the point.

When an agency can grab people first and sort out rights later, if they bother at all, everyone is at risk. Citizen or not.

This is Minneapolis:

Walk into my neighborhood ACE last night & see the signage on their door notifying fed agents that it’s private property and cannot be used for immigration enforcement. These signs are all over the city.

Walk in & the nearest shelf has goggles & whistles.

Speaking ill of the dead is controversial, particularly when it was a violent death. It’s edgy; it’s sensitive; best avoided in most cases, etc.

Baselessly making another person’s murder *about yourself,* and then approving of it, is a different thing. That is delusional, narcissistic, sociopathic.
