A 13-year-old boy saved his mother and two younger siblings on Friday evening, swimming four hours in fading light and rough conditions, after they were swept out to sea in South West Western Australia.
The family were holidaying in Quindalup, 250km south of Perth, when strong winds pushed their inflatable paddleboards and kayak offshore from Geographe Bay. Continue reading...

I'm sick of seeing all these 'impeach' posts and '25th' posts and asking Republicans to show morals posts. Not because impeachment isn't justified but because it's not going to happen. I'd like to win the lottery too but it's a poor financial plan! Voting and protesting is the way.

So powerful in his straightforward reporting of the facts. And this is just one area in which the government of the United States is being dictatorial. I expect this in China, I expect it in Russia, I expect it in North Korea. Yet, here it is, in the United States.
The story won't be new to anyone following it, but here's some thoughts on Minneapolis and watching a month of state-created violence from far away.

I think it's worth mentioning that Trump's email would have gotten any Australian political leader, from either party, removed from office within a matter of days at most. By their own party!
