Same. I much prefer those to yellowjackets at least. Less aggressive. Just wish it wasn't the invasive ones.

I'd be more worried about wasps, honestly. That's the problem we're having with our soffit gap. XP

Thank you! I've definitely come a long way! (and drawn a lot of coyotes XD)

Never seen a bittern, scarlet tanager or rose-breasted grosbeak. That's so cool! Jelly

Oh sandhill cranes were all over where I use to live. I love hearing them call as they fly over in fall and spring. Hearing them is all I get where I live now.
I just about lost my mind seeing wood ducks in the redwoods and harlequin ducks in the PNW.
I need to get back out to the coast for birding

I mean even just limiting myself to mammals is really hard. Add in birds and my head is gonna explode XD
List a few at me you're excited about.
I saw my first great gray owl last fall and was squeeing about it for weeks.

I get that if it's someone you don't know well, but this is a good friend. We've talked about some serious TMI stuff. I totally understand in the case of a customer wanting to ask a question though and I'm guilty of that myself. I think the idea is more like "do you have a moment?"

Or at the very least, leave out the pause.
"Hi! I have a question. - Here is the question-".

A friend of mine has a frustrating habit of messaging me "Can I ask you a question?" and when waits for me to reply.
DAMNIT WOMAN JUST LEAD WITH THE QUESTION

Most publishers (there are always exceptions) decide whether or not to buy a second book (or a third etc) based on how the previous book did. So when you pirate a book in most cases it’s less about the money you just stole from both author and publisher it’s about the future book you just killed.
