Is linux from scratch still happening? Yes! Slowly. It's hard to decomission my daily driver while I build 800 packages. Also Octopath 0 came out, and it has me genuinely impressed. Like I was expecting to have some minor gripes. And I do. But the good stuff IS good.

After 49 years, today sees the last day of HST operation in regular passenger service on England (a few continue to operate in Scotland for now). To mark the occasion, here’s a flashback almost six years to when the final HST rolled into King’s Cross on 21 December 2019.

The artist describes the work as capturing a moment of harmony and silence between two people.

The original piece is an oil on canvas measuring 10x10 inches.

Watercolour of gardens in #Winchester with the cathedral in the background. This was done on one of several sketching visits in the '90s. You can soak up history in Winchester which has a wonderful atmosphere, dank and timeless, very nostalgic for me.

Remembrance day offers an opportunity to reflect on the indescriminate devastation man can unleash on man. We are still living with the consequences of the onset of "total war". It is seen in every modern conflict. Do not let casualties be another number, nor forget the lessons of the past

So the best I could find about retroactively adding multilib functionality to a Linux From Scratch system was "it's a pain in the butt, and it's almost better to rebuild it".

So I'm rebuilding it, this time with the end goals of steam, obs recording, and figuring out how lutris works under the hood
