I'm rereading Anathem (Neal Stephenson, 2008), and man I wish it hadn't been so prescient. I quite like the phrase "Artificial Inanity" though.

I made a snail plushie. This time I used plushify.net to get the pattern and it worked wonderfully. Definitely recommend it if you're like me and sewing and UV unwrapping share the same brainspace.
