Another thing you should know about the Twin Cities, if you're not here, is that while the mayor and governor tell us to stay calm on TV, our council members and other local electeds are on the street patrolling and protecting neighbors, doing mutual aid, and otherwise serving the community.

i think this gets at something important which is that normal people are rightly pissed off that they’re having normal time stolen from them by this ravaging horde of jumped up mall cops. everybody has to work in the morning! why is it THEIR job to hold their community together in such a basic way!

A lot of cool stuff goign on in the Golden Kamuy opening and ending. The imagery of animals bathed in gold in the OP is quite striking, and in general it looks pretty cool, while the ED features Sugimoto absolutely jamming out to one of those punk rock tunes that fit this show so well.
