At best, Miles is a weird blight on Prime 4 and the downside to a good game.
At worst, Miles is a red flag for the entire game as a whole.

That Miles was considered a good idea, and *such* a good idea that he should be presented to journalists, speaks to a core rot in the development of Prime 4 that is likely to plague the rest of the game.

There’s nothing intrinsically wrong with talking NPCs in Metroid games but it’s something you have to handle with great care.

I know nobody’s seen Predator Badlands because if they had, I’d be hearing a lot more discourse on how the Predator MC is inexplicably an alien Pokemon trainer with android legs as a secret mass-murder-by-stealth agent.

I’m near the end of Silksong, and man. The game’s fun but I have been motivated to play at my own pace. I have some serious gripes with the tool system; limited resources that require grinding but are also the optimal option bothers me.
