Counter proposal: public hangings of tech billionaires.
A Palantir billionaire just called for public hangings.

“It's time to bring back masculine leadership to protect our most vulnerable,” writes Joe Lonsdale.

This is where Silicon Valley authoritarianism is heading:

Finally caught up with Rebel Moon.

3.5 / 5.

Doubt we see a third. If only they had novels.

Crazy that it was a star wars fan fic that got turned down.

Prolly for the best, but also doubt it gets the same kind of love.

I've come to the learning the intricacies of the MP4 container format stage of my RAID data recovery journey.

Also AI likely got me into some of this mess but has been useful in quickly cooking up python scripts that I can test ideas against while trying to get out.

It’s white? How fitting for 2025
Pantone’s 2026 color of the year is technically not a color at all — meet Cloud Dancer, the first-ever white shade to receive the designation from the world’s color authority.
Pantone makes a surprising choice for its 2026 color of the year
We did not see that coming.

Raptors find a way 'to win ugly' against lowly Pacers
It wasn't an easy win, even if the injury-riddled Pacers dropped to 2-16 on the season. But by winning so often and so early, the Raptors are learning all the different ways to finish the job.

The Bluesky consensus seems to be that only technocrats use and love AI.

Meanwhile the biggest AI homers in my world are teachers, lawyers, Drs, financial advisors and parents.

Most of whom are dismayed at my lack of AI enthusiasm.

This app is as much a reflection of real life as Twitter.
Is this platform still massively against AI or has it moved more towards acceptance?

Twitch gamifying digital panhandling.
Twitch has launched a new goal system that tells viewers how many more gifted subs are needed to upgrade their badge. It currently maxes out at 5000.

It may also warn you if you're about to lose the badge (as it's been longer than 30 days since you last gifted).

Prime Minister Narendra Modi and I met at the G20 Summit today, and launched negotiations for a trade deal that could more than double our trade to $70 billion.

India is the world’s fifth largest economy, and that means big new opportunities for Canadian workers and businesses.
