We all had a first night sleepover downstairs last night, not perhaps the best idea but Holly grumbled a bit at the noise of Bob's CPAP machine and he suggested I stay downstairs. Didn't sleep too badly and Holly was fine, on the sofa with me. She put her paws on her bed but decided on the sofa.

We all had a first night sleepover downstairs last night, not perhaps the best idea but Holly grumbled a bit at the noise of Bob's CPAP machine and he suggested I stay downstairs. Didn't sleep too badly and Holly was fine, on the sofa with me. She put her paws on her bed but decided on the sofa.
But her first favourite place is behind the front door, which is fine but I wanted to use the living room door so she knows when it's closed we're going out/to work and it saves the worry if we're coming back in because damn she's quick. She has let Bob stroke her though. So far so good I guess 🤞🏼

Not too bad ta. She doesn't like the TV (size rather than noise) and she's been barking at that and at Bob. Also managed to knock over the bird bath when her long lead got snagged around it. Not damaged but I'll deal with it tomorrow. We've snuggled on the sofa and been for a drag round the block 😂

Despite the very shitty journey and dickheads on the road, had a lovely evening with the in-laws and cousins last night celebrating my favourite cousin-in-law Tricia's 60th. Haven't got any cousins of my own but when I married Bob I gained 17 of his! My SIL said I looked very glamorous 😊

Chaz was sat on the bug house at lunchtime so I asked her to deal with the rats that are living under it. She seemed to take this request on board and spent a long while concentrating on it.

I've also wrestled the baby gate back into place and the rabbits are waiting. So yep, I think we're ready 🤞🏼

Switched the living room back round in anticipation of Holly's arrival. My sofa back by the window to block the view of people/dogs walking past (at least while she gets comfortable) and also the radiator. Bob thinks I'm overthinking things but he forgets we're essentially getting a puppy

I feel like a tree or trees must have gone from this view because Keppel's Column hasn't always been this clearly visible from the back bedroom. Same goes for being able to see the top of the cranes as well! Although that could be because they put up a different model. It's looking cold out there 🥶

Storm always changed colour when it snowed and you discovered that she wasn't truly white 🤣 She rarely barked but for some reason she found snowmen (even headless ones) threatening.
