It feels like there's this idea that everything has an objective value on the good to bad scale and you're either correct or deceived about what it is. And the worst thing you can be in our society is deceived, so people tie themselves in knots trying to prove they know the Truth.
I wish we could renormalize being able to simply dislike a thing without having to prove your dislike is due to a massive flaw in the thing. You can just not like it. It doesn't have to be due to a pile of discourse.
