2/ As one of the few farmers in the General Assembly, the entire committee relied on his knowledge and experience. His passing is a loss to his district, the state, and his committee family, and we will miss him. I offer my prayers and condolences to his family and friends.

We should not stand for it. Keep showing up and keep speaking out. This corrupt government needs to know that its citizens are watching and that we do not accept their constant violations of human rights, civil rights, and our Constitutional rights..

“Privatizing” was the wrong word. I meant that I’m not talking about a system where doctors would work for the system. That brings its own set of problems. Doctors should be able to be independent and bill the public single-payer system.

I’m determined to keep working alongside other environmental legislators like Senator Brooks to protect a clean and healthy environment for our health and well-being, as well as that of all life interconnected with ours. #ncel #ncel2025
