It's almost like Liverpool could use a dynamic scorer...maybe a guy from Egypt.

This match is crying out for Wirtz. Truly don't get the inclusion of Jones today.
December 9, 2025 at 9:29 PM
Liverpool rolling with a 4-1-3-2? It's basically a 4-4-2 with 2 defensive mids. Kind of surprised Wirtz isn't starting. Jones over Wirtz seems like a bad choice.

Wow 🤯
It gets worse. Trump also says straight out that an invasion of Venezuela "on land" is coming and says he'd expand all this to Mexico and Colombia. Incredibly, no one even bothers pointing out anymore that he is claiming authority to do all of this without Congress:

Slot is gonna role out a 4-4-2 against Inter, isn’t he

It’s genuinely unbelievable how much the average right winger’s conception of history is based on post-war American advertising of the mid 20th century

Correct.
🗣️ “I hate that it's gotten to the point where Salah felt he had to do this, but I'm not against him speaking out because there's a rot within the club at the moment. You go through our squad, you can't name four players who are playing well this season. Not one. And yet, it's Mo that got dropped.”

Some #Liverpool thoughts:

Anyone who has watched this team the last 4 years or so knows something to heart that cannot be denied: Konate is not an elite defender. He's very, very good. But elitism is determined by consistency. And Konate is utterly inconsistent.

Give it to Miami. They stepped it up
December 6, 2025 at 9:46 PM
And there it is. 1-1. Miami doesn’t want to play soccer today
December 6, 2025 at 9:07 PM
One of those games when Miami forgets they have Messi and just dillies with the ball like a headless chicken

Inter Miami kind of stinking up the joint but Vancouver just hasn’t broken through yet

US soccer announcers talk too much. It’s truly annoying

MLS officiating is so uneven. Minimal contact -> foul & free kick. Violent elbow to the face -> yellow.

As I was saying
December 6, 2025 at 7:29 PM
Typical Liverpool performance for this season. Moments of total brilliance followed by incoherence followed by more brilliance. When they figure this out, they will be great

Why does Gapko exist.
December 6, 2025 at 6:01 PM
Ok, it’s not bizarre. It looks like a team that is unsure of how the manager wants them to play. The decisionmaking is slower than expected so, to me, that suggests confusion.

A nice stretch right now though #Liverpool.

This team just looks like they are not locked in. What is it going to take? Just bizarre stuff from Liverpool
December 6, 2025 at 5:44 PM
My formula for Liverpool today: press and when you win the ball, push it quickly to get shots
December 6, 2025 at 5:25 PM
In spite of Liverpools absolute inconsistency this season, a win today puts them in 5th place on goal differential.

Pack it up, pack it in, let us begin…
I'm going to keep saying this in my effort to speak it into reality: Supreme Court should have at least 100 Justices with rotating panels (and maybe an en banc option). No single Justice should have so much power and they shouldn't be names everyone knows.
A court with a normal-ish conservative majority would have been tolerable. I'm not eager for court packing, impeaching justices, and other such options. But this court sticking around post-Trump is untenable. They've already torched their own legitimacy, the only question is what do we do about it.

WELL NOW, would you look at that? A massive, 24-YEAR-LONG study of MORE THAN 1.2 MILLION people in Denmark found NO LINK between aluminum in childhood vaccines and autism, asthma, OR chronic disorders.

Aluminum is an ADJUVANT.

It ENHANCES your immune response to a vaccine.

That’s it.
