I might have been on the news in like... 2008 for this. Reporter saw a college kid coming out, figured I was lazy. Got both dead parent barrels instead. (The lawyers had only finished some paperwork I needed a couple days before)

I'm a fan of giving the OnCall a weighty say for Friday deploys. Need to add a new dept to a well- understood table? Have fun. Migrate a new interface to turn on next week? Sure!

This morning the deer were in the yard, and tonight I sat in the quiet dark listening to the owls call through the woods, and the geese butt in from the reservoir. No lights. No generator. No slamming. No beeping. Just owls.
