Geno really hit well in Arizona as their park is hitter friendly unlike here where it’s a canyon 😂. He’ll turn 35 next July. A 2 yr deal sounds ideal. Ben Williamson still young had time to develop. When he got sent back down to Tacoma, he hit well (PCL player of the month of Aug).

Yeah, he hit 52 HRs total. But his time in Seattle alone in those 2 months of the regular season: .189 avg, .255 OBP, .682 OPS, 0.3 WAR, 94 WRC+ (100 is the avg), 35.9% K rate.

Geno is great as a clubhouse guy. Defense too. It is just the hitting in Seattle wasn’t there when he came back. I’m torn on this if they should or shouldn’t. Let’s see how this plays out.
