They’re like Reform, all falling out with each other.

Last year they were all criticising Labour for not lifting the cap. Honestly, they just make up reasons to be outraged.

I am ex Navy, and much as I am proud of our Naval history, our army and air force are vital.

I thought Feargal Charley said the contracts were well designed but the regulatory authority is poor?

Why can’t they force the water company to pay?

Well I am sure Venezuela will be relieved to know drug trafficking is no longer an offence.

It’s why I cancelled my X account over a year ago. The impact is amazing, I find I am actually more open to listening to other view points when they aren’t shoved down my throat.

It is slow and cumbersome though. Just the sheer numbers involved, the admin, the cost and people wait years to get their case heard.

Is Witcoff stupid or an actual Russian agent?

I hope I live long enough to see the pendulum swing away from all this far right populist nonsense. We’ve had 10 years of it, I just want it to stop.
November 27, 2025 at 10:33 PM
True. Which is why you need plurality. Doesn’t the French system have three judges?
November 27, 2025 at 10:29 PM
That’s just silly. Of course we need an army. Britain has built up expertise, you don’t just throw it away.
November 27, 2025 at 10:27 PM
No, France can’t fulfill deterrent role because what if they vote in Le Pen’s party (Putin supporters like Reform). I mean yes, we need to work with Europe, and other NATO countries but why should France pay for our deterrent?

I don’t think juries are perfect, but my fear is what would happen if someone like Farage came to power. I suppose it’s like democracy..j. not perfect but least bad option? I mean democracy got us Brexit & Boris. Some juries make terrible decisions.

I have mixed views. After the jury acquitted Ulster rugby players of charges of rape a I think women would get more justice from professional judges. Juries aren’t perfect either. But this does seem like cost cutting.

Absolutely. It always felt a bit unrealistic tbh.

It’s true. Brexit is a huge problem but I fear with possibility of France and Germany falling to the far right, the EU is in danger of losing its position as a bastion of liberal democracy. Britain should clearly have stayed in but what happens next?

Do you mean they don’t want to give it all to mafiosa boss in Washington who wants it? Oh dear.

I still find it pathetic that he’s even a thing in politics here let alone leading the polls. Utterly depressing.
