The answer is to look to Europe and Asia for partners and contracts. Leverage our built-in advantage: the connections we have through out diverse population. The less dependent we are on the fascist deal-breakers to our south, the better off we will be.

Yes, as a librarian who depended upon that data for resource development, I was very angry!

I’ll add the Conservatives oppose climate change science, want increased private healthcare and now oppose birthright citizenship (being born in Canada makes you a Canadian citizen - they want to end that). There are more policies that are part of the Conservative platform but these are a few.
