A male rock ptarmigan (Lagopus muta) in winter plumage.

My friends hand-make their cards every year. Was so excited to get mine in my mailbox yesterday. 💌
Holiday cards 2025 edition, Year 8 of making our own. We went farmhouse style this year with newspaper collage and a barn quilt for good festive measure, putting 174 in the mail. Always a production for Becca and me, but a holiday tradition to cherish.
