This week, the CSIRO announced up to 350 research positions would go at the organisation. That's on top of more than 800 jobs cut over the past 18 months.

My brother-in-law has been waiting over two years for a hip replacement - and Albanese wants the States to spend less on hospitals.

Perhaps if the government stopped subsidising private hospitals, we could all have a decent health system.
