When Ministers take their oath, they earn the title Honourable.

It's not just a title - it's a promise, to act with honour.

The $2.5B Skills Development Fund has paid millions to low-scoring applicants with ties to the PC party.

Has @DavidPiccini acted honourably?

Dignity. Community. Affordability. Co-op housing delivers all these things, which is why Ontarians are clamouring for more. So am I.

It's great to work alongside @CHFCanada who are champions for more co-op housing across Ontario.

There aren't a lot of things that unite all MPPs - but coming together on the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women is one of them.

We must stand with survivors and commit to ending gender-based violence - in our words and our actions.

This is moments before I went into Question Period to vote against Bill 60.

It is mean-spirited legislation that ignores injustices facing tenants and the root causes of housing failures under @fordnation.

Although the bill passed, our resolve to fight it hasn’t.

As you make calls to book holiday parties and family gatherings, I hope you’ll make one more call—to book your vaccines.

Let’s keep each other safe from viruses like influenza and COVID-19.

It’s what I recommend to family because I want the best for them—and for you.

Ever heard of a game where ordinary people have to settle for $200, while one person snatches all the property for homes and jacks up the rent?

Ontario has become a game of Monopoly, and @fordnation is Mr. Moneybags.

Today, we celebrated the 107th anniversary of the proclamation of Latvia as a republic.

Since then, this vibrant community has faced many hardships but always endured with resilience and resolve.

They have enriched our province through culture, traditions and community service.

Two weeks ago, we highlighted a series of irregularities with @DavidPiccini’s mismanagement of the Skills Development Fund ⬇️

One of those irregularities is now being investigated by the OPP.

The dominos are starting to fall.

Soon enough, Piccini will too.

It is one of my most solemn duties to represent our community in remembering all those who have fought and died for our country.

Today, I placed a wreath on behalf of our grateful province. Lest we forget.

Today, I met @OntarioNurses who are asking for a fair deal.

As healthcare pressures grow and workers become an afterthought,
Ontarians aren’t getting the care they deserve.

Why does @fordnation only ever stand up for his friends and let down the rest of us?

Recently, trick-or-treating has felt like a ghost story of bygones past, because young families can’t live in homes that make neighbourhoods come alive on Halloween.

Let’s change that.

Let’s build communities that kids can live and play in.

Let’s bring Halloween back.

Happy Diwali to everyone celebrating in Don Valley East and across our country.

May the festival of lights bring joy, peace, and prosperity to you and your loved ones.

At the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation’s Fall Harvest, tradition came alive.

From winnowing wild rice to plucking porcupine quills, every act told a story. It was a powerful reminder that Indigenous culture and wisdom has so much to teach us.

Today we celebrate Persons Day - the 1929 legal victory that recognized Canadian women as “persons” under the law. Thanks to the Famous Five who led the charge, the way was paved for women to participate more fully in public and political life.

This Thanksgiving, I’m grateful for our community - for neighbours who look out for one another and the shared values that bring us together.

I hope this weekend has brought opportunities for peace, rest and joy.

Happy Thanksgiving!

The Mid Autumn Festival took place earlier this week and I had an amazing time celebrating with the Korean Canadian Cultural Association right here in #DonValleyEast.

Nothing is stronger than a community united.

That’s #DonValleyEast.

Last night, neighbours, families and leaders came together with @TPS33Div for a thoughtful discussion on crime and safety.

The message was clear: we will not be deterred - and together we are powerful.

Yom Kippur is the holiest day of the year in the Jewish calendar. It is a time of fasting, prayer, and reflection, focused on forgiveness and renewal. To all who observe, I wish you a meaningful and peaceful day.

Truth is painful, but also transformative.

On #NationalDayforTruthandReconciliation, we reflect on the tragic history of residential schools and the wounds inflicted on Indigenous people in Canada.

May these truths compel us to walk a path of reconciliation, everyday.

On Saturday, volunteers worldwide joined in Global Ismaili CIVIC Day, with a focus on service to humanity by protecting our earth.

Many hands make light work, which is how a big team was so fast to spruce up our beloved Sunnybrook Park.

Thank you for this inspiring effort.

Dreams don’t disappear because of a disability.

But for too many students, the barriers are immense.

Last night, I joined the Tamara Gordon Foundation’s 2025 Scholarship Award Ceremony to celebrate post-secondary students who refuse to let adversity define them.

Linda’s story is both unique and painfully familiar:

A woman with hopes and dreams, dashed by struggles with mental health and homelessness. She died alone in Don Mills.

She’s not alone anymore.

Today, we attended the 16th Annual Linda’s Walk so this can’t happen again.

I’m saddened by the passing of the Honourable Jim Bradley, one of Ontario’s longest serving MPPs.

I was lucky enough to meet him and am inspired by his warmth, humility, and lifelong dedication to public service.

My thoughts are with his family and all who mourn his loss.

Today, @TPS33Div opened a new Safety Hub at Shops at Don Mills.

This hub is more than a physical space - it’s a platform for nurturing trust, partnership and peace of mind.

Thanks @TPSDonovanLocke for your leadership to bring neighbours, businesses and police closer together.
