Did some blockouts for the next asset pack I've got planned. Even though I've got no immediate plans to use this in a game myself, I can't skip a blockout and in-engine test to check the navigable space is big enough. Already rejigged this a bit after testing.

This little texture pack is getting there. It was quite small pack done for a 2002 Quake 3 add-on map. I've retouched almost everything to some extent, added many new variants, and put in some completely new stuff.

I've been digging through older works to see if I have anything presentable that mighty be useful to others. I did make some textures for various add-on maps for Quake 3 and some of them are nice enough that people working on retro-styled stuff might find them helpful. So these will be forthcoming.

Today I learned that baby swordfish already have a spike, and immediately had the intrusive thought of a fish-based sword fighting game where your spiny fry grows bigger as you level up.

Unfortunately this was rapidly replaced by a horrifying flashback of working on an ill-fated Zorro game pitch.

Been mucking about with a first person testbed in Godot because I am easily distracted. Knocked together a short level with oldschool DOOM slidey doors, since you'll spot issues in a more structured gameplay environment that aren't necessarily going to show up in a more open sandbox. #blocktober

Wow I sure don't post enough so here's some Orks from 2021.

I don't think 'ard boyz have been a 'good' unit choice at any point in 40K's history. One extra save pip never made enough of a difference, there was usually too much AP5/-2 going on, but damn do I love kitbashing this phase of ork models.

Hey anyone remember how when Tervigons were first introduced to Warhammer 40k there was no model, so people had to make their own or buy a substitute from someone who was about to get hit with a lawsuit? What if someone had started to build one in those ancient times and had only just finished it?
