This is funny. Mom went across San Juan to try gourmet vegan ice cream in a charcoal activated cone that’s been nominated for a James Beard Award. She didn’t want to miss trying it only to find out they’ve opened a 2nd place about 1h from our home! She says it was AMAZING!

M, D + hubro stopped to watch this guy walk past along the old fort wall in Old San Juan. They said he was very friendly.

M, D + hubro are enjoying Puerto Rico. Mom loved the streets cobbled with (really) old blue glassy bricks in Old San Juan. They were used as ballast on ships coming from Spain then discarded before return trips when the ships were filled w gold, sugar, ginger, etc.

My sitter fren, Angela, took my weekly photo today. This was our first shot. I didn’t think it was right to make it a challenge for her like I do with Mom and I knew she’d give me all the treats anyway.

We went for walkies after breakfast then I had a rest. Now my sitter fren, Angela, is telling me the plan for the rest of the day: we’re going on a trail walk on a trail I’ve never been to! Imagine all the new sniffs…

I watched the train pull in and then I watched all the people and then…hubro got in the car! I did a kissy attack and big tail wags then jumped in his lap and gave him lots of lovin’. This is hubro’s first trip home from college and I wanted to be sure he knows how happy I am!

Whoa. There was an accident at our corner and there are a gazillion flashing lights! Two cars both hit the same telephone pole. There are two flat bed trucks waiting to take them away. We don’t think anyone was badly hurt but there are two ambulances, too.

There’s more exciting news! M, D + hubro are going to Puerto Rico for Thanksgiving break + hubro’s 19th bday (which falls on Thanksgiving this year). I’m gonna stay home + have adventures w my new sitter fren, Angela. She’s gonna spoil me + we’re gonna have tons of fun!
