So the other day I bought a roomba.
And like any well-adjusted, responsible, grown-ass man, I turned it into a Rareware character.

Just got back from Return of the King Extended at my local theatre, capping off three days of LotR.
These days it's hard to keep my attention on it for the full 12 hours, but when forced to on the big screen it's still magical.

Just got back from Return of the King Extended at my local theatre, capping off three days of LotR.
These days it's hard to keep my attention on it for the full 12 hours, but when forced to on the big screen it's still magical.
Astounding film-making, no notes.

A neat detail about MP4's opening is that Samus' scan visor keeps returning "Statue of unknown lifeform made out of unknown substance"...
And the second she gets psychic powers the visor is like "This is a statue of John Alienguy III, head priest of the So-and-so, made of Unobtainium."

I was never that hyped for the first Mario movie, but I enjoyed it fine.
This one though, I'm actually quite excited!
Elements from Sunshine, Galaxy, Odyssey, and Wonder could be very neat.

Just rolled credits on Hades 2.
I'm also currently re-reading Stephen Fry's Mythos series.
I think I like Hades so much because it's basically Mythos: The Game (or Mythos is Hades: The Novel).
The Gods presented not as myth but as people, a family, and a very dysfunctional one at that.

Just rolled credits on Hades 2.

About two weeks ago I bought an apartment, my first own home.
On Monday the mortgage got approved, so now it's just waiting for the key!
To celebrate, I did get the Mario Galaxy bundle (again).
Now I can beat Galaxy 1 in my rental, and have 2 be the first game I play in the new place!

Tough crowd, too.
Dunno if it was the group (lot of Dutch students; rarely a good sign) or if they just deeply don't care about law and I wasn't able to light that fire.
Oh well, there's always next year.
