Don't do it, you sickos.

Don't you do it!

I'm watching you, #blutoid, you leave wholesome Kirby out of this!
Luca already had that big brother energy.

I'm trying to clean my old apartment before moving out and security deposit inspections.

Me:
"Oh god no, how am I ever going to get this awful stain out?!"

The humble steelwool brush:
What strikes me is that over here across the pond, the news coverage of the protest was basically:

"There was a huge protest in the US today. It's over now."

It hardly feels like the winds of change when everything is back to normal by dinner.
Mahaha - Chuckle at group.
Hahala - Laugh at one person.
Hahadyne - Heavy laugh at one person.

I've heard of this before, I think this is a condition scientists have recently given the Latin name "Peritia consecutio".

In layman's terms: skill issue.

(I kid; congrats on the wins!)
50+ hours, and I don't think I ever saw that line!

This game, I swear.
I really like how Hades handles the story-telling, and it's something I think more games should emulate.

That said, it's becoming very clear in the post-game that the characters are playing catch-up.

Hecate just commented on something I unlocked literally 15 hours ago.

I actually mixed it up all the time! I've had successful runs with all of them.

If I had to pick I'd go with Sister Blades - Melinoë. Backstab damage is easy to set up and pays off.

But my easiest runs were always Black Cloak. Somehow I always ended up with builds that just melted everything.
Just rolled credits on Hades 2.

I'm also currently re-reading Stephen Fry's Mythos series.

I think I like Hades so much because it's basically Mythos: The Game (or Mythos is Hades: The Novel).

The Gods presented not as myth but as people, a family, and a very dysfunctional one at that.

IIRC this is one of those dream areas. Your tools don't consume shards during those, so spam them to your heart's content. There's a shortcut at the end.
Roguelites are weird to me. I've read the criticisms of Roguelite systems, and I mostly agree with them too.

A system that starts difficult but gets easier over time shouldn't really work. Especially if "over time" means playing the same 5 areas a bunch.

...
And yet I enjoy them every single time.
I have a problem with 2 hearts contact damage to begin with.

Brushing up against an enemy should not do the same damage as a 2-hit combo or a giant axe to the face.

Unless it's literally made of lava, just no.
I hadn't heard much about this, but it sounds great!
I'm not a huge fan of beat-em-ups, except if they're VERY well designed. But Streets of Rage 4 definitely was, and adding roguelite elements sounds like a great fit.

Checking this out right after Hades 2!
"Oh hey, I also buy about two games a month, I didn't realize that was below average."

"- a YEAR-"

"...oh."
Also, are they under "Audio", "Gameplay", or "Accessibility"?
Look man, I'm relieved at literally anything other than Naoto and Roxas.
They're amazing!
Do they have names yet?
I don't mean to brag or anything,* but Hades 2 just gave me severe handicap because I'm just too dang good at the game.

Apparently, I wasn't dying enough for all the story to play out properly.

*I totally mean to brag or something

You dislike it so much you cracked your Switch in half?
It legit feels super weird to be talking about "my mortgage".
What am I, the parents in a cartoon?!
About two weeks ago I bought an apartment, my first own home.

On Monday the mortgage got approved, so now it's just waiting for the key!

To celebrate, I did get the Mario Galaxy bundle (again).
Now I can beat Galaxy 1 in my rental, and have 2 be the first game I play in the new place!
