No surprise Rick Scott would be pushing the scummiest plans, it’s insane that man isn’t in prison for stealing billions from Medicaid
November 24, 2025 at 2:51 PM
Would this apply to Medicaid? Or BHPs like MinnesotaCare or NY Essential Plan

They want to say oh look trans kids with puberty blockers delayed are basically the same as puberty blockers immediately so puberty blockers don’t do anything!

Which is why we’re banning them because they don’t do anything /s

Just shitty pseudoscience

2)I don’t see how any significant data can be obtained, surely a single year given the variance in when puberty even takes effect or it’s speed would have like a wide margin of error and little overall distinction.

I’m guessing that’s the idea-

Now ironically Americans decided lack of doing anything means voting for a power hungry nutjob who wants to extract as much money as possible from them for himself and his rich friends while pandering to his Nazi base. So it’s just ten times worse.

Most stuff he did was genuinely helpful, there was a huge investment in infrastructure for one, and Lina Khan was great as a FTC pick.

Issue was that he didn’t do shit about things like outsourcing, lack of entry level opportunities, or food prices. He was always a liberal not progressive.

It’s also crazy that people are pushing him like he’s Jesus 3 years before the next election
November 18, 2025 at 1:12 PM
I’ll never vote for this demented power hungry rat.

I would be more interested in learning what percent of voters for Republicans, Independents, and Democrats would vote for.

It’s pretty meaningless if those 4/10 will never for a Democrat anyways.

NY had received a federal waiver to expand the program to 250 percent of the poverty line and add some increased services as well as better pay for doctors. The program had been receiving more federal funds than it needed due to quirks but now it’s funding is so stripped it has to undo the expansion

They’re referred to as Basic Health Program funded by 95% of the tax credits and cost-sharing reductions individuals would have received in marketplace plans, along with some state funding.

Unfortunately the massive ACA cuts are forcing the state to revert the Essential Plan expansion last year
October 5, 2025 at 6:40 AM
If states wanted to they could make their own version of the NYS Essential plan, which is a ACA plan option that states has to create for people who make between 100 and 200 percent of the federal poverty line.

Only two states took advantage of the option, NYS and Minnesota (MinnesotaCare).
