Just picturing this dude seeing these shirtless busts and being like "oh I gotta get in on this, and I have to Win it," pen and paper out, diagrams, bouncing ideas off of the poor thing he's exploiting to give himself the power to make all of this in the first place (🤫).

Realistically I imagine most of his bodies (which are explosive, hence my earlier commentary on fireworks fuses) are a single coherent piece rather than a nude human dressed in an outfit. That way he can minimize the amount of work it takes to keep his look up to his standards.

So the fun thing about the Water Baron is that his bodies are artificially constructed and bespoke, and his goal is always to be the most perfect guy in the room. Presumably he built this one to his own exact specifications too, meaning the scar is a fake aesthetic choice on his part. For flavor.

I'm still working on this but it is indeed pretty funny to me. It's kind of tough for me to draw a guy who is intentionally "attractive" because sometimes my own tastes run counter to what is popular for other people, but I'm getting there. I'm also drawing a lot more of him than the others lmao

Sometimes the way to fix a character's color scheme is to just slide the Hue bar around until you land on the answer

It also just occurred to me that fireworks fuses are fucking teal and my agonizing over whether or not to give him white hair was predicated on something that wasn't even true. And then I made it teal with the color slider and was like "oh hell yeah that's it." Thanks universe for fixing that.

Meanwhile, she herself maintains a positive relationship with the person who could completely destroy her, the Water Baron. He finds her fantastical inner world very entertaining and encourages her at every chance he gets.
