New by me: A read on the Zack Polanski-spearheaded Green surge, what it might mean for Labour, and why even previous Zack-sceptics inside the Greens are onboard now.

If we're the team having to control possession, I really prefer Nketiah as the striker. Whole system moves more fluidly around his movement.

Lots of the coversation regarding closing schools during Covid seems to revolve a lot around children being low-risk, and much less about the vulnerable people they would have spread the virus among. Children also aren't the only people in schools. It's very surface-level discourse.

Been worried about today's game since Everton. It's a big test of character to respond positively to a first defeat in a long time.

Such a good performance that even Nketiah is receiving praise. What a time to be alive.

Bit silly from Sosa to throw himself into those two tackles but that's an extremely soft yellow card

One major difference in the way Palace play compared to the tough period 12 months ago is the intensity off the ball. It's leading to better opportunities to win the ball higher up the pitch and therefore more scoring chances.

Bit surprised by the lack of positivity around Palace, both from fans and media. I'm going into a game against the champions, and only other unbeaten team, feeling like I might be slightly disappointed if we don't get a point.

What's rather frustrating (from an entirely neutral perspective) about Amorim is the inevitable interview in 20 years' time in which he admits regretting being so stubborn

They've been told that racism is wrong but they've also been told that the views they hold are right. So if the views they hold are right then they can't be racist because that is wrong
This, from The Londoner yesterday, also features people on the march who claim not to be racists. Though the things they say prove otherwise

I’ve been frustrated to see so much of the ongoing story about asylum seekers and the protests against them covered without hearing from those seeking asylum and now being met with hostility and hatred
I set out to speak to those directly affected to find out about the impact this is having 👇
