One really weird consequence of "getting important at work" is that I've really had to put aside my fanciful ideas of being a games writer or a content creator full time. I'm almost 40, I probably should have given up on these dreams a decade ago, but I'm a little sad to accept this reality

Incredibly funny that The Gamers are mad that they put McLovin into Metroid
Finding out Metroid Prime 4 has a bumbling, comic relief sidekick that looks like this. It has maybe never been more over.

Meet a child in Pokémon ZA, their quest is they want to prove their Pikachu is the strongest in the world. I get my alpha Pikachu, and train it up. I swap out the moves for ones that would be effective then release my monster juiced up Pikachu on this child. It’s 30 levels higher and 3x the size

"What do you mean" Well sometimes people ask me "So, do awards help with book sales?" and anyway, not universally. I definitely do NOT believe that I (or indeed any author!) am entitled to book sales. But I, uh. Can't live on mine. :)

Some chapters in Where Darkness Gathers are really reminding me of Telmanes defence of Camelyn in Wheel of Time, and that was on of my favourite chapters in the entire series!
