Bluesky idea: if people just coming to realize that facism is bad because it hurts them are upset that people who understood the threat (& were treated like a bunch of hysterical Cassandras for years because of it), maybe they should learn to sit with their fucking discomfort.
Bluesky idea: if people who didn't agree with you change their opinions so that they do agree with you, why not be happy that you are making progress - rather than complaining that they are "only just catching up"?

my current drum kit hot take is that I care not for the sound of stacked cymbals
I get the purpose for them and the current fad is for trashier crashes, but every example I've heard sounds rather thin and tinny to me and don't quite blend well with the rest of the usual cymbals
