How stupid and senseless of them to say that Netflix-Warner is going to "make everything gay," when Warner Bros. already made stuff gay between years 17 to 40 of its existence!

Max Fleischer was still making cartoons even THEN? We thought his studio had lost all relevance by that time!

Remember, this was Rankin-Bass's FIRST holiday special. They didn't know how to write characters well when making this. Besides, the other reindeer being mean to Rudolph originates from previous versions of Rudolph's story (in the 1949 song and R. L. May's original booklet that introduced him).

And I say "nearly all" because there are some things the Wiki forbids to be included. The copyrighted lyrics to the songs of Muppet projects, including but not limited to the entire Sesame Street song library, are forbidden to be posted. Full lists of the characters' quotes are likewise prohibited.

Yes, happy 20th anniversary to Fandom's home for nearly all accepted Muppets-franchise knowledge and trivia! It would be a wild ride to explore through, to say the least.

And what? Make the entire backlog of Warner Home Video/Warner Home Entertainment lost media in doing so?

Could this be the end of Theme Park Characters being costumed walk-arounds?

Sounds like the friendship between you two is... Atrox-ciously firm!

No plans are in place to demolish Roger Rabbit's Car Toon Spin. All that may be done to it is to remove the name and likeness of Roger himself from the ride. The rest of Toontown, however, will remain unchanged regardless.

Actually, this is Mickey's then-current meetable appearance translated to the character's actual proportions.

Not even the fact of Roger Rabbit no longer being a Disney property seems to have stopped you from doing this!

It's perfectly clear that Judy was raised to have above-average compassion. The Herrison family seems to be one of the few families that are willing to allow a bird that would normally be slaughtered for Thanksgiving dinner, to be a guest of honor at a dinner for that holiday!

Nobody thought he'd earn a place as a clue on the show... but now, here he is! Unbelievable!

Everything from Nineteen Eighty-Four to what came out in the REAL 1984? Interesting timespan to cover in this.

If you knew this was going to happen, you would have just limited the project to updating every OTHER day, and titled it "The Looneys' 300 Greatest Tunes." And personally, that's what I think you should have done.

And not just plain old niche uses, for that matter - as by then, several very controversial cartoons with the character will be PD, which will likely lead to indie artists using the Disney cast for VERY insensitive materials.

What's going to be worse for Disney? The score of NSFW cartoons that semi-creative people will generate with those AI tools, or seeing the American public domain of 2029, which will contain enough Mickey cartoons to open the door for all kinds of niche stuff being done with his cast of characters?

I wouldn't call Wizard of Oz a reevaluated flop, it was a pretty big box office success that was nominated for five Academy Awards and won three of those. It was just expensive to make and Hollywood in those days used creative accounting where under representing profit was in their interest.

Out of the hundreds of potential names your team came out with, you definitely made the right choice in selecting "DARK WING (DUCK)" as the character's final, official name.
