As before, this will not affect my output as an independent developer. I’ll continue to have my hands in several indie games moving forward, including my work at Seedy Eye Software. Stay tuned!

Do you recommend any good reading regarding this? I know the Big Two comics in America are also guided in this way but I'd love to learn more. It seems insane to try to editorialize so much for a weekly series

Congrats, Joe - thank you for taking a chance on me and giving me my dream job, among countless other opportunities (plus your trust and friendship). I can't wait to see you excel in your new role.

I edited this interview for clarity! Someone who truly did not want to be asked about a career low.

I played it on Wii VC and a GC controller too! Not the ideal way!
I guess to your original point, it is weird how like, a demonstrably hard game like DKC2 from my childhood won't phase me & I can deal with it, but I have less patience for newer games that by all accounts are way less difficult.

No joke, I was playing DKC2 last night (I'm running through all the games rn). Beat it, too. I know realistically it probably is way harder but the hundreds of cumulative hours I've put into it over the course of my life makes it more like a comfortable itch. It's a weird thing.
