If you're in the area, I'll be around the LRG retail store tomorrow from 12:30 to 3 to hang out and sign copies of Arzette. There's a lot of other cool stuff going on too, so come say hi!
There are only 20 hours left until we open the doors for our 10th Anniversary event in Cary, NC! Come to the retail store to meet some guests and get autographs!

Arzette: The Jewel of Faramore ($7.99) - a game with deep inspiration by and love of Zelda-

which Zeldas, you ask? oh! well, not the NES original. not the N64 ones either.

this is a tribute to CD-I Zelda. yes, really. and it's a goofy, goodass time. store.steampowered.com/app/1924780/...

Joe did great work on those screens. They look factory fitted.

I also had to edit some graphics for one of the games and ended up using Deluxe Paint loaded from floppy disk on an Amiga 500 with a 30 year old mouse. It was quicker and easier than using any of more modern tools, and more fun too.
Hand editing the menu screens of Bubsy 3D for each platform is a career high for me. Just real goblin behavior.

My 3 year old now loves playing Bubsy so all the blood, sweat and tears were worth it just to hear the wise words he shouts whilst playing it.
Bubsy in: The Purrfect Collection is finally out. A lotta blood, sweat, & tears from myself & the Carbon team (mostly tears). Despite the "quality" of the games, it was important to me that the collection was handled with love, cuz nobody else was gonna do it. Have fun, Bubheads.
Humanity has amassed too much power. Bubsy 3D was never meant to be played like this

Yes, I have been working on the Bubsy collection. Yes, the team added analog controls and a fully controllable camera to Bubsy 3D (as an option). What could possibly go wrong?

Arzette: The Jewel of Faramore

It's crazy how well they're were able to adapt both the look and vibes of the CDI Zelda games without it feeling forced. And on top of being a nice love letter to those games and that era of YTP humour, it's just a really fun game on it's own! A surprisingly fun time!

Version 1.0 of MeenTC - a remake of I.M. Meen in GZDoom - is out!

Thanks to Melodic Spaceship on Doomworld, MeenTC now has the scroll-editing mode that made I.M. Meen an edutainment game! It's now feature-complete and plays (nearly) identically to the original game!

Just finished Arzette And The Jewel Of Faramore. Never thought I'd see a spiritual successor to cdi zelda let alone an actual good one. It's short and sweet with some awesome music and artwork. Had a ton of fun with this one and highly recommend it if you're a fan of old school action platformers
