It was hard to narrow it down to four, but other characters I enjoyed this year are the 15th Doctor, Hank Hill, Estelle Bright (honestly, most of the main characters trail Trails), Donkey Kong and Pauline, Reed Richards, Emily from Hazbin Hotel, to name a few.

Many capitalist economies do worse than Cuba and the DPRK. USSR (as mentioned in article) consistently grew and grew more than capitalist economies. The USSR didn’t fail because the economy was worse than most capitalist economies. The planned economy put the USSR on the world stage.
