When people ask why anyone stays, this is why. There are people who actually believe in their organization's mission and want the rules followed. They stayed for the day they could take a stand. They're not surrendering. They're standing in the gap and may lose everything they worked to get for it.

Almost to a man, the people accepting the premise immigration is bad are descendants of people who came to these shores via migration or servitude. People from other places are the reason this country is what it is from government structure to music to food to accents. This stance is rage inducing.
