As for the announcement it came during the Robotech panel while SDCC, they said both Macross and Souther Cross would be coming to streaming. (Moseapada is already in its original form on Crunchyroll)

His name is literally on the poster and the credits (in the very coveted "AND" spot) so I'm not sure what he's on about?
And no offense to him, but he was a total nobody for audiences in 2004 outside of the handful of nerds who watched Firefly. Of course they were not gonna center marketing on him.
