Yeah, same. I understand the idea behind it, and I’m glad people are creative with it and that it evokes a person’s vibe, though. (Will argue forever about fonts, stopping now)

Not at all! Creating a world means creating the people in it, their behavior, emotions, thoughts, language, etc. Kinda fun to create an OED of sorts to your invented world, whether words mean something at the time of the story rather than what they once meant, slang, nicknames, etc!

And yet Christianity defines itself with the symbol of the cross and yet that morbidity is a-ok!

I remember twenty years ago working at a major bookstore where if we didn’t sell these, we’d tear the cover off and mail that back to the publisher. The rest of the book was recycled. It was argued mailing the whole book was more expensive. But all those books just tossed, like nothing.
