Senator Milton Young
@senmiltonyoung.bsky.social
Former U.S. Senator from the great state of North Dakota. They call me Mr. Wheat. The tallest building in Minot is named after me, which is a hell of a thing.
It’s time for Uncle Milt to get back in the game. Are you people more active over on the fat South African’s platform?

She was 17 and homeless and trying to save money to get herself some braces.

What a world.

I enjoy that Curtis Sliwa isn’t a wholesale MAGA Republican but is a type of right wing crazy wholly unique to himself.

Governor Candidate Tries to Storm Out of Interview After Raging at Reporter’s Trump Question
Katie Porter has built her image on grilling executives, but couldn’t face straight forward questions herself.

They must shut it down. He will rage. He will appear weak and feeble. No more rolling over.

Donald Trump and his Red Hats have chosen to turn politics into warfare. So it goes.

I am, more than anything, a farmer. That’s why it’s distressing that most of my fellows voted for a fat, raping crook who wouldn’t piss on them if they were on fire.

Those of you who have known me for a while will recall that I’ve long said they’ll support him only for so long as he’s useful to them.

I stand by that.

Tearing at the remaining threads of a fraying nation over Charlie fucking Kirk.

A soft-handed fatty who’s never done a day of manual labor in his pampered Ivy League life. His own people hate him so much that they made him use a video showing him getting winded while incorrectly using a paint roller.

If you weep for the Hortmans, as I did, but are incapable of recognizing the inhumanity of what happened to Kirk — and if you accept the idea, even passively, that those who say things you disagree with or even find repugnant deserve to be shot to death in a public forum — then all is lost.

Boy, who could have guessed Patel isn’t qualified to run a two-pig pig farm, let alone the FBI.
September 11, 2025 at 11:35 PM
Many on the right will turn Kirk into a martyr and many on the left will say he got what was coming to him.

But the reality is that the vast majority of Americans didn’t even know who he was. He’s just another guy who got shot to death.

And those are a dime a dozen in this country.

I like Pritzker. He's well meaning and earnest.

But these aren't earnest times.

Politics as we knew it before 2016 is dead.

Dead forever.

These are dark and ugly times.

Meanness can only be defeated with meanness.

Newsom is closer to the mark than Pritzker.

So it goes.
September 5, 2025 at 7:05 PM
Yes.
Democrats spend far too much time thinking and talking about how to attack Trump & his party.

No one attack ever works in politics. What does work is a commitment to sustained aggression. Attack, attack, attack.

How Newsom is attacking is much less important than the fact that he is attacking.

I miss the days when a meeting between a Russian and a rapist would have been broken up by law enforcement.

This is the way.

I like Mamdani. He’s amusing and clever in an overly-educated and privileged sort of way. I think he’ll be a good mayor.

Yet the idea that he’s somehow preternaturally talented is laughable. He was in the right place at the right time. But you don’t have to apologize for being lucky.
August 15, 2025 at 3:25 AM
False. Democrats have tried everything else for ten years, to no avail. It’s time to get ugly and mean. These are the darkest of days. Pritzker is a half measure. Newsom is all the way.
I'm going to say this once. I think you can mock Trump without shaking the tree too hard. Pritzker does it. He taunts, he shakes his fist, he got to where Newsom is first. There is no need to be cute and WRITE LIKE THIS. People are sick of that. Hit him with one arm, demonstrate with the other.
August 15, 2025 at 3:19 AM
They’ve propped him up for eight years because he was useful to them. But nobody’s useful forever.
When the engine dies the plane keeps flying for a time. I think it will be like that.

If he continues to make a public enemy of Murdoch, he’ll lose. Murdoch is a nihilist who’d consider taking down a president, any president, a feather in his cap.

Few things will unite people faster than the feeling the government is deciding what they can and can't watch on television.

Murdoch doesn’t green light tonight’s story unless more is coming.
July 18, 2025 at 12:56 AM
The way that the left is reacting to the prospect of Newsom in 2028 is yet another reminder that the left will always choose political death via niche cultural issues over victory via economic issues.
