I liked everything but the Jack the Ripper stuff. I’m tired of him. A movie with Christopher Plummer and James Mason going to plays and arguing over squashed peas, though, would be watchable.

There was luthier in Boston around 1910 named Elias Howe, who was not related to the sewing machine guy. He developed guitars and mandolins with a curious bowed top. His guitars also had a unique neck mount that allowed for easy action adjustment. I wonder what his dreams were like.
