Yeah, we realised the base was a VRoid Studio rip AFTER I bought it… I felt like a chump.
But no, the assets I use on my model are Blender other than the base, and I’d have changed bases a while ago now if I could find one that suits me.

I've heard people (mis-) use it for people who are queer-coded, regardless of body shape, and have very much heard it used as a slur, so now I want to live in your world and hang around the people you hang around. 😆

Fair, I just... internalise my own issues, I suppose. And now I want to make a Winter-themed outfit with my colours on the gown and apron reversed, featuring snowflakes and candles instead of the iron scrolls and ivy theme. Hm...

I came out as ace to my mother ages ago, and we were discussing this new term that the news media had just started using for queer people: "Snowflake". Owl Gran forgot we were discussing literal slurs and with delight and love said, "YOU'RE MY LITTLE SNOWFLAKE!"
It was a very conflicting moment.

I mean, a term for a facsimile of a person (especially a woman) being used for women who often are told (or feel) they are "fake" seems a little offensive on the surface, so I get you. Glad to know, though, because calling a girl "Doll" in a "gangster" voice is a joke I'll need to stop now. 😅

At uni, it was “We wait 5 minutes if the instructor has a Bachelor’s; ten minutes if they have a Master’s; and 15 minutes if they have a Doctorate.”
