anyway, i made plane go up

this is launching from Chicago O'Hare, which has big runways

i had been trying to launch from Crosland Moor, which is the closest to me & i thought i'd go see my house, but it's also tiny airstrip & i kept hitting trees before i could get my groundspeed high enough

added Ultra Dynamic Sky for prettiness, & just copied the same trees from the left of the road to the right (i should probably rearrange them to make them look better, but this is pretty good for 1% effort huh?) & this is starting to look really quite good

This, but also Israel has continued to take land from Palestinians. It's not antisemitic to point out that that is a thing which has been happening for the entire history of modern Israel. They have been forcing Palestinians off their land, that's a fact, & I don't think it's wrong to say that's bad

it's both impressive that Unreal lets me craft natural textures that quick, & also holy crap i need to get faster at this

This reflects a reduction in our forecast of underlying mediumterm total factor productivity (TFP) growth from 1.1 per cent in March to 0.8 per cent in this forecast. Our forecasts for capital deepening and labour supply growth in 2029 are broadly unchanged at 0.2 and 0.5 per cent respectively. We set out the reasoning for, and analysis behind, our new productivity assumption in Briefing paper No. 9: Forecasting productivity, published alongside this EFO and summarised in Box 2.1. 2.17 Our central forecast sees potential output growth slow from 1.8 per cent in 2025 to 1.3 per cent in 2026, before picking up to 1.5 per cent by 2030 (Chart 2.5). The slowdown next year partly reflects a further fall in levels of net migration, which affects labour supply and aggregate output but has a much smaller impact on output per person. Potential output growth picks up over the rest of the forecast thanks to a recovery in TFP growth, which rises from 0.3 per cent in 2026 to 0.8 per cent in 2030.

Ok here's what I've been working on this week - I've seen a bunch of little festive houses in Lidl & thought they were almost cute, but looked too much like mass produced shit, so decided I'd make my own

This is probably like 4-5 hours work so far, & it's currently held together with masking tape
That mucky bit of plywood from my earlier posts, with the lines to cut marked again in pencil because the dirt made them hard to see. The graphite is catching the light, showing clear marks to cut. A little wooden house, with a steep shingled roof and a small porch. It is a model, sat on a workbench. The model house from the back. There's no porch on this side, and the roof overhangs much further, to shed snow (if this was a real building).
